The Challenge
In 2017, global tech company Qualtrics launched a new engineering center in Kraków, Poland, with a bold objective: to build a top-tier technical team that would meet the highest international standards-both in technical expertise and academic background.
The recruitment process was inspired by Google’s six-step model and placed significant emphasis on sourcing candidates from specific academic programs. Adding to the complexity, Qualtrics offered a total rewards compensation model (including equity and bonuses), which was unfamiliar to many candidates in the local market.
Our Solution
As a fully embedded Recruitment Process Outsourcing (RPO) partner, itMatch became an integral part of Qualtrics’ Polish operations-operationally and strategically. We developed a comprehensive recruitment strategy that prioritized candidate experience and education at every stage of the process.
Key initiatives included:
- Providing pre-interview tutorials and learning materials,
- Sharing technical reading recommendations to prepare for assessments,
- Creating content to clearly explain the compensation structure,
- Actively engaging candidates throughout the recruitment journey.
The Outcome
Over the course of our long-term partnership, we’ve hired over 230 tech professionals across a wide range of roles, including Software Engineers, QA Engineers, Product Managers, UX Designers, and more. Each hire successfully passed one of the most demanding recruitment processes in the industry.
Most importantly, hiring managers consistently reported high satisfaction, citing strong alignment between candidate profiles and team needs.
Thanks to a flexible RPO model and deep market knowledge, we’ve supported Qualtrics in scaling efficiently-without compromising on quality.
