The role.

We are seeking a dynamic individual with boundless energy, a positive attitude, and a genuine passion for supporting development teams in achieving their goals. Software Engineering Manager should be deeply committed to agile methodologies and continuously focused on improving processes. As a servant leader, they will inspire and guide the team, providing direction, encouragement, and hands-on assistance to help them excel. With a strong technological background, they will not only mentor and set the team’s technology direction but also dive into the technical work when needed to ensure success.

Day to day responsibilities.

• Leading agile teams to implement features that deliver significant impact for our customers

• Designing technical aspects of user stories and plans for delivery

• Take ownership for overall delivery cadence and quality for your teams

• Identifying and removing obstacles and bottlenecks from the team

• Drive adoption of key engineering practices to improve delivery

• Mentor and coach team of engineers in agile and good practice

• Organising effective knowledge transfer, training, and documentation

We’re looking.

• A Bachelor and/or Master degree

• 3+ years experience leading and managing software engineering teams, including coaching teams on agile practices

• Experience in Kanban or other immediate type delivery

• Previous experience in developing either Java, React, C# etc.

• 2+ years communicating to key stakeholders

Bonus Skills: • Experience in solution architecture

• Experience in managing projects

• Experience in cloud environments (AWS or equivalent)

• Experience in working with DevOps and CI/CD pipelines

• Experience using SQL Server (or a similar relational database)
