The B2B Finance Operations Controller will support all Poland operations with regard to the B2B Finance operations and will be based in Kraków or Wroclaw office. The successful candidate will be the "go to specialist" with a sleeve rolled up attitude and high operational standards preferably from high-tech organisations. 

The successful candidate has a good work ethic and a professional attitude. The desired quality of prospective employees is a lean mindset with continuous improvement orientation.

Finance team is placed in two locations: Krakow and Wroclaw. There is one role of B2B Finance Operations controller for two locations who reports fo Finance Manager Poland.

The B2B Finance Operations Controller  will maintain effective working relationships with a variety of stakeholders:

  • B2B Contractors
  • Finance team 
  • HR & Payroll team
  • People team
  • Overseas Finance Manager
  • Heads/Managers
  • OT Group Finance Team
  • OT UK Finance Team

Accountabilities:

  • Coordination of the B2B contract settlement process
  • Liaising with consultants regarding contracts settlements
  • Active cooperation with other company departments with regards to ongoing B2B contracts
  • Substantive and timely verification, description and processing of invoices issued by B2B contractors together with their attachments
  • Issuing sales invoices with relation to mutual settlement
  • Accruals calculation related to B2B costs
  • Prepare various calculations regarding B2B 
  • Prepare Payments and support Payments Process
  • Oversee company’s completeness and correctness of settlements and proper evidence in relation to ongoing B2B contracts
  • Provide regular and ad hoc financial reports and informations
  • Ensures efficient and timely handling of ongoing internal financial matters with relation to B2B area
  • Implement law/tax changes
  • Proactively seek to continuously improve processes, better financial controls, processes and policies within and outside of the team with relation to B2B area
  • Support the finance department across all areas for any ad hoc items during busy times
  • Cooperate with external accounting services provider on a daily basis
  • Serve as local point for contractors and managers in terms of B2B
  • Be a local subject matter expert to any B2B related matters, be it contract related, any documentation and calculations

Skills, Experience and Qualifications:

  • Fluent in English and Polish
  • University Degree in Finance/Accounting/Economics or a related field
  • Working experience in a similar role
  • Advanced Excel skills essential
  • General understanding of polish taxation and civil code
  • Very strong analytical, calculations and mathematical skills
  • Organizational skills, conscientiousness and independence
  • Attention to detail & working with high volumes
  • Being able to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Being proactive in your approach to improving and providing effective and efficient support of finance related activities
  • Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
  • Experience in building relationships based on strong interpersonal skills
  • Experience working with B2B contractors would be desired
  • Excellent time management and organizational skills with the natural ability to prioritise, demonstrating high levels of accuracy, thoroughness and reliability
  • Ability to be proactive and take a problem-solving approach
  • Flexible and adaptable
  • Creative thinker and able to develop new ideas/solutions
